WORLD OF X GAMES CONTENT COMING IN april:
The April programming on World of X Games takes fans off road with King of Hammers, considered to be the hardest one-day off-road desert race in the world. Later in the month, off-road racing continues with 2019 Desert Invitational T1 Race Presented by Monster Energy.
XGames.com will also release the third installment of the Real Series presented by Nexcare with the tenth anniversary of Real Street. The all-video contest will debut nine never been seen skate video parts on XGames.com on April 24, with the full Real Street show to follow on ABC next month.For the most updated 2019 schedule please click here.
Now in its tenth year, the Real Series has expanded from only a Real Street competition into five different episodes. The series now includes Real Ski, Real Snow, Real Street, Real BMX and Real Moto. In each Real Series competition, each athlete teams with an editor to produce a never-before-seen video part in their own unique style. Each video part will debut on XGames.com for fans to watch and vote for their fan favorite. Then each competition will culminate in a one-hour World of X Games episode which will feature each part, behind-the-scenes content and selection of the medalists. For past editions click here.
Road to X
The Road to X is X Games’ signature content series, highlighting how X Games athletes prepare for their shot at X Games gold. Hosted by Jack Mitrani, the short pieces will be filmed on location and provide fans a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into preparing for the event. Road to X also includes coverage of live events like the X Games Qualifiers. For the third year, X Games will host the Road to X Park Qualifier in Boise, Idaho. Road to X episodes are available on XGames.com/ X Games Social and will be featured in the X Games event broadcasts.
The Being Series features in-depth profiles on the world’s top action sports athletes and icons. Each athlete profile will debut on XGames.com and @XGames social media and then several will be packaged into a one-hour World of X Games show. The athletes featured in the upcoming Being Series are Anna Gasser, Blair Morgan, Tom Wallisch and Jackson Strong.
Skaters in Cars
A digital video series featuring skate journalist Chris Nieratko, the ongoing series provides a lighthearted look into the past, present and future of street skateboarding across the U.S. Each episode follows Nieratko’s travels through various cities to meet with top pro skaters in search of the hottest skate spots in their hometowns. X Games signature show, hosted by Brandon Graham, highlighting all things going on in the World of X Games. The show will be a combination of pre-recorded interviews/updates as well as select live shows around key dates and locations. The show is meant to spark dialogue and dissect everything going on around the X Games brand, from upcoming events, Real Series and everything else in between. Monthly ZOOM galleries celebrate the best in action sports photography. Each month, XGames.com selects 10 of the best photos submitted by photographers in the BMX, skateboard, motocross, freeski, snowboard, surf, and mountain bike worlds.
